Coach Taylor Warren to Direct 2026 US National Team Junior Race Camps

Taylor with Juniors

BOISE, Idaho — [July 1, 2026] — Source Endurance is proud to announce that coach Taylor Warren has been selected by USA Cycling to coach and direct its 2026 European Junior Race Camps (15-16 year old athletes) for the national governing body’s development program for the country’s top young road racers.

USA Cycling contracted Warren — a USAC Level 1 coach based in Boise, Idaho — to lead two separate two-week camps this summer, July 6–20 and August 3–17. Each camp brings six Junior riders to the Netherlands to live and race in Europe, contesting five Belgian kermesses per block — the fast, tactical circuit races that are a rite of passage for developing riders. Framed as a “live and learn to race in Europe” experience, the camps go beyond a typical training block. Riders live together for the full two weeks, racing the local kermesse calendar across the border in Belgium and absorbing the day-to-day rhythm of European bike racing — travel, recovery, pre-race prep, and the in-the-moment tactical decisions that races are won and lost on. Under Warren’s direction, every race is paired with preparation and a debrief, compressing months of hard-won experience into a single immersive block.

Being tapped to direct a national-team development program reflects the depth of coaching Warren brings to Source Endurance, where he works with riders across road, criterium, gravel, and mountain bike and races competitively himself.

“Junior development is a big focus for Source Endurance, so I am excited and honored to get the call up to work with this group of incredibly talented juniors. I hope to be able to impart as much bike racing knowledge as I can to these athletes, but also to help them navigate life in Europe and feel comfortable away from home. A lot of the challenges with European bike racing come from the space in between the races — dealing with homesickness, or even just being able to cook a nutritious meal and take care of yourself abroad,” said Warren.

Source Endurance owner, Adam Mills states, "Coach Taylor has a long and successful history of cultivating athlete development. We're really proud of this accomplishment for him and are excited to watch him apply his skills for USA Cycling."

About the USA Cycling Junior 15-16 European Race Camps

The European Race Camps are USA Cycling’s development program for junior men and women of racing age 15 and 16. Athletes earn invitations either automatically — by winning designated national events, including the general classification at select domestic stage races and the 15-16 national championships in the time trial, road race, and criterium — or at the discretion of USA Cycling’s Sports Performance staff, based on season results across road and other disciplines and on coach or team referrals. Invited athletes must hold a valid UCI international racing license and be in good standing with USA Cycling, the UCI, the U.S. Center for SafeSport, and USADA. A service fee applies and covers clothing, lodging, food, ground transportation, race support, and travel insurance; athletes cover their own airfare. Riders interested in being considered can contact USA Cycling directly. Full eligibility and selection details are published in USA Cycling’s 2026 selection guidelines.
