SE Athlete Podiums Across the Country!

It was a big kick-off weekend in many areas around the country and SE athletes cashed in on podiums, a just reward after a winter of hard work.
Valley of the Sun collected the most results for SE athletes over the weekend. SE sponsored program Elevate KHS Pro Cycling Team worked hard together and were continually in the mix. Their efforts resulted in the team bringing home the leaders jersey. A solid start to the season for the newly merged team.

Nate Taggatz finishes 10th in the GC, securing his Cat 1 upgrade.

Rio Grande Elite Cycling Team also had a few solid finishes in the time trial but some bad luck in the road race with mechanicals.  The team came together to help put SE athlete Nate Taggatz in 10th GC and securing him the remaining points needed to upgrade to a Cat 1. Congrats Nate!

TT monster Walt Durrer continued to SE athlete success with 2nd TT and 2nd GC in the Master’s 45+. Walt, in fact, placed well everyday…a 2nd, a 7th, and a 12th.

Up and comer Tyrel Fuchs won the Cat 4 time trial and went on two get 3rd in the road race, securing the GC win!

Out in Texas, SE collegiate athlete Preston Glace took the win out at Texas State University this weekend with enough time for a proper podium salute.

Finally, our own SE coach, Zack Allison took the win at a very wet Cherry Pie Crit out in Napa, California at the Clif Bar Team Camp.
That’s a wrap of a very successful weekend for Source Endurance athletes. Nothing like a bunch of podiums to keep motivation high! Nice work!
