Rider Highlight: Cole Limpach takes the win at East Village Crit in Des Moines, Iowa
Junior athlete Cole Limpach has been crushing this season…he most recently took his first P/1/2 win, complete with post up at East Village Crit in Des Moines, Iowa.
“I got in a break with two teammates and one other. After about 5 laps in the break. I attacked and rode solo for about 3 laps until my teammate bridged up to me. With a lapped rider on our wheel they called a prime with 3 to go, and I sprinted the lapped rider for the prime. After that I rode the race of the race solo to get my first pro 1/2 win.” Cole shared.
Cole works with Zack Allison and has gotten to enjoy riding that post-peak fitness wave: “We worked hard to prep for for jr nationals. With this race a week later I was still in really good fitness for the race.”
What advice does he have for his peers? “I would advise to listen to your coach, and follow the plan as closely as possible for the best results. After my first year with coach Allison and Source Endurance I have became a rider that I didn’t think I could achieve in such a short time.”
Crusher! Congrats Cole on all your smashing results this season and snagging your first P/1/2 win!
