Ava Hachmann, BS

Coach Ava Hachmann grew up in the endurance sports mecca of Durango, Colorado, and has been racing bikes since 2014 when she got her start with the Durango DEVO mountain bike program. Staying true to her passions on the road, she has been competing at the elite domestic level since graduating high school, racing for prominent squads like CCB Racing. During her collegiate career at Fort Lewis College, Ava served as team captain for four years, culminating in a Varsity Team Time Trial National Championship victory and a silver medal in the Criterium. Beyond the collegiate and domestic pro circuit, she has also piloted tandems for the U.S. Para National Championship Team and earned a spot on the 2024 U.S. Paralympic Long-List Team.

Since graduating, Ava has continued racing at the top level while putting her deep network and experience to work for other athletes. Most recently, she has managed race logistics and served as Assistant Director Sportif for the Vancouver-based professional squad, Analog Racing Team. With a strong academic foundation and a relentless curiosity, coaching is a natural extension of her love for the sport. Touting a "classically trained" philosophy, she combines time-tested training fundamentals with modern, data-driven analytics to develop well-rounded, resilient, and highly capable athletes—whether they are taking on their first clinic or stepping up to international competition.
